i think american footbal derives from soccer, inventend in England two centuries ago. The passion raises Iberian Península and now in portugal there area three ou four great clubs: Sporting, Benfica, FC Porto (yes, from Oporto wine) and Braga. This year Benfica takes the lead, but FCPorto is a strong opponent. In Spain the panorama is similar, but the raivaly between FCBarcelona and Real Madrid takes all the attention and are winner of the cup in the last decade.Only Deportivo da Coruña
